1Day 1: Australia → Nouméa
  • Fly from Australia to New Caledonia. On arrival at Tontouta International Airport, transfer (approx. 45 minutes) to your hotel in Nouméa. Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring the city and its renowned dining scene.

2Day 2: Nouméa – Bourail (177 km | approx. 2h30)
  • Pick up your rental car from your hotel and begin your self-drive journey along the West Coast. Pass through La Foa and Moindou, with an optional stop at Fort Teremba to learn about local history. Continue to Bourail, with suggested visits to Roche Percée, Bonhomme de Bourail, and Poé Beach.

3Day 3: Bourail
  • Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure to enjoy activities such as snorkeling, surfing, paddleboarding, golf, or scenic walks within Deva Domain. Optional excursion to Parc des Grandes Fougères (entry not included).

4Day 4: Bourail – Poindimié (175 km | approx. 2h10)
  • After breakfast, drive via Pouembout with an optional hike at Plateau de Tia. Visit the cultural centre in Pomémie before crossing the scenic Koné-Tiwaka road to the East Coast.

5Day 5: Poindimié
  • Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. Optional snorkeling or diving experiences in one of New Caledonia’s best lagoon areas (advance booking recommended).

6Day 6: Poindimié – Nouméa (330 km | approx. 4h30)
  • After breakfast, return to Nouméa via the scenic Houaïlou–Bourail route, crossing rivers, coastal villages, and mountain ranges.

7Day 7: Nouméa
