Step by Step1Day 1: Noumea
Upon arrival at Tontouta International Airport, you will be met by an A5 Car Rental representative and transferred to their depot for vehicle collection and completion of paperwork.
Once your car hire is arranged, drive to Nouméa for check-in at your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to visit the city centre before enjoying the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay at Hilton Noumea La Promenade Residences in a Studio Apartment.
2Day 2: Noumea → Poindimié
Head to Pouembout for a short hike on Plateau de Tia to enjoy a panoramic view over the area and ocean. Then visit the Cultural Centre of Pomemie near Koné (kanak exhibits). Reach your hotel in Poindimié.
Overnight stay at Tieti Hotel in a Tropical Bungalow.
3Day 3: Poindimié → Hienghène
Stop along the Linderalic Rocks in Hienghène, walk on the “500 francs bill” beach (this beach used to be on the 500 francs bill), reach the viewpoint over the Sphynx and Hen (rocks in front of the Bay), and visit the Cultural Centre of Hienghène. Reach your hotel in Hienghène.
Overnight stay at Koulnoue Hotel in a Privilege Bungalow.
4Day 4: Hienghène
Head north to take the last ferry-boat of New Caledonia joining the road between Hienghène and the north of the mainland. There are two waterfalls along the way: Cascade de Tao & Cascade Colnett. You could stop at Association Djowero to learn how to carve mountain rocks. Visit the St Denis church, the first catholic church of New Caledonia.

5Day 5-6: Hienghène → Noumea
Return to Nouméa and enjoy your last two days to visit its bays, city centre, cultural centre…
Overnight stay in Noumea at Hilton Noumea La Promenade Residences in a Studio Apartment.
6Day 7: Noumea
After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and drive to the A5 Car Rental depot near Tontouta Airport. Return your vehicle with a full tank of fuel and complete the necessary paperwork. Once finalised, you will be transferred to Tontouta International Airport for your onward flight. Please allow approximately 3–5 hours travel time from Nouméa prior to your departure.
