Arrival in Noumea. Pick up your rental car at the airport and drive to Noumea for check in at Nouvata Hotel. Visit the city center and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Head to Pouembout for a short hike on Plateau de Thia to enjoy a panoramic view over the area and ocean. Then visit the Cultural Centre of Pomemie near Koné (kanak exhibits). Reach your hotel in Poindimié.

Stop along the Linderalic Rocks in Hienghène, walk on the “500 francs bill” beach (this beach used to be on the 500 francs bill), reach the viewpoint over the Sphynx and Hen (rocks in front of the Bay), and visit the Cultural Centre of Hienghène. Reach your hotel in Hienghène.

Head north to take the last ferry-boat of New Caledonia joining the road between Hienghène and the north of the mainland. There are two waterfalls along the way: Cascade de Tao & Cascade Colnett. You could stop at Association Djowero to learn how to carve mountain rocks. Visit the St Denis church, the first catholic church of New Caledonia.
