18th edition of the Lions Club La Foa Raid at the Parc des Grandes Fougères, with 50% of the proceeds donated to the Lions Club La Foa to support its charitable and humanitarian initiatives.
This outdoor event features five distinct trails designed for every fitness level, from seasoned runners to families seeking a nature discovery in New Caledonia's South Province. Experienced trail runners can tackle "La Cascade Running Conseil", a challenging 24-kilometre timed race with an 1,100-metre elevation gain. "La Transversale Eaux du Mont Dore" offers a demanding 14.8-kilometre route with a 780-metre elevation gain, open to both timed racers and hikers. For a more accessible hiking experience through the Mainland rainforest, participants can choose between the 9.4-kilometre "SIFA Intermédiaire" trail, the 6.9-kilometre "SFAC Pic Monnier" loop, or the easy 4.2-kilometre "SOPROTEC Familiale", which is perfect for families looking to enjoy the outdoors.
