An iconic running event in Noumea, the Mobil New Caledonia International Marathon welcomes runners of all levels along the stunning bays and lagoon, in a friendly and international atmosphere.

Each year, the Mobil New Caledonia International Marathon brings together local and international runners along Noumea’s scenic bays. Created in 1983 in partnership with Japan, this iconic event offers several race options for all abilities — full marathon, half marathon, 10 km and a fun kids’ run. In a friendly, community-driven spirit, participants enjoy an exceptional setting of turquoise waters and coconut-lined paths under ideal winter skies. Organised by the Comité du Marathon International de Nouvelle-Calédonie (COMINC), the event celebrates endurance, determination and the joy of running in one of the South Pacific’s most beautiful landscapes.
