Description
The New Caledonia Cruise Club brings together public and private stakeholders to develop and promote an inclusive, sustainable cruise industry that benefits local communities and destinations.
The New Caledonia Cruise Club brings together public and private stakeholders involved in tourism and cruising around a shared ambition: to structure the industry sustainably and strengthen its positive impact across New Caledonia.
The association works to establish a collaborative governance model, supports local councils in developing cruise tourism while protecting the environment and local communities, and helps promote New Caledonia as an attractive cruise destination in the Pacific.
Its activities include developing and reopening ports of call, raising local awareness of cruise tourism, training and professionalising service providers, diversifying the visitor experience, and showcasing New Caledonian products, expertise and heritage. The Club also plans to develop a long-term strategy, an environmental charter and a quality label.
Membership is open to individuals and organisations from the public or private sector wishing to share their expertise or contribute to the development of cruise tourism in New Caledonia.
