Description
Go diving with the only club in La Foa and discover the underwater splendour of a UNESCO World Heritage-listed lagoon!
From Caledonian Wake Park, La Foa Plongée takes you into the Ouano nature reserve to explore rays, turtles, dolphins, fish and corals. The club runs guided dives and autonomous outings for level-1-and-above divers, with sites chosen according to the group's level and the weather. The boat, an aluminium 6.30-metre Stabicraft, hosts up to six divers and carries all safety equipment on board. A ladder makes it easy to climb back aboard from the rear, and a sun shade keeps the deck cool. The Scubapro gear is regularly renewed, and 5.5-millimetre wetsuits with hood are available for rent. On site, you can enjoy the restaurant and accommodation of Caledonian Wake Park. Book your dive.
For your safety, you must present your diver certification card and complete and sign a medical form on site.
Anyone can scuba dive (if medically fit), even someone who is a little anxious in the water. La Foa Plongée will tailor its dives to suit the divers. To join an exploration dive, you must be 14 or over (minors must also have a medical certificate from an ENT doctor).
– The boat departs from Ouano wharf.
– The minimum you need is a swimsuit, towel and sun screen.
– Dives are based on divers’ skill levels and the weather conditions.
– Meet at the wharf at 7.30 am.
