On the southern tip of New Caledonia, at the entrance to the UNESCO-listed Grand Lagon Sud park, the Kanua Tera Ecolodge belongs to the Attiti family, in the trade for three generations. Eliane and Robert have built a site whose traditional architecture blends into the bay's natural setting. The eighteen tropical or melanesian bungalows face the sea, equipped with a queen-size bed, bathroom, air-conditioning and a small fridge, with the white-sand beach at your feet. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, under the shade of a giant banyan. On site, you can rent a paddle, use the pontoon for low-tide swimming and walk the Bagnards trail.
