Jeudi du centre ville

A gourmet edition of Jeudi du Centre-ville (Downtown Thursday) is coming to Place des Cocotiers, organized in partnership with the Disciples d’Escoffier association. A wide variety of stalls await visitors, featuring farm and seafood products, jams, honey, prepared meals, as well as displays dedicated to the art of table setting. The day will be packed with events and tastings: Cooking shows hosted by local chefs and broadcast on a giant screen Shrimp dish creations presented by the Disciples d’Escoffier An exhibitor contest focused on local fish and vegetables Culinary advice, tastings, and live music running all day long Note: All workshops will exclusively feature local produce. NOT TO BE MISSED: THE “HOT ONES” CONTEST The highlight of this 2026 edition is the brand-new “Hot Ones” challenge, prepared by Chef Fabrice Chassaing of the Disciples d’Escoffier. Inspired by the popular show broadcast on Canal+, this event will invite participants to sample chicken nuggets dipped in increasingly spicy sauces... Visitors can sign up on-site on the day of the event to take on this spicy challenge!
