Welcome to Eden Blue Caledonia dive club in Koumac, New Caledonia!
Charlène offers an outstanding introductory diving experience, suitable for both children and adults, in a spectacular and well-preserved marine environment. The dive takes place at “Jardin d’Eden”, a shallow lagoon site of less than 6 metres, ideal for a safe and reassuring first underwater experience.
The water here is remarkably clear, offering exceptional visibility over the coral and marine life. The site is home to impressive biodiversity, with tropical fish, colourful coral and a wide variety of fascinating species moving through a unique natural setting.
The Koumac region is known for the richness of its marine flora and fauna. Just a few minutes by boat, the barrier reef offers the chance to observe an incredible diversity of species.
In these protected waters, you may also spot iconic marine species such as leopard rays, hammerhead sharks or majestic manta rays. The areas, still little affected by human activity, provide ideal conditions for unforgettable encounters with marine life.
Above the surface, seabirds such as terns add the finishing touch to this exceptional natural scene.
A unique immersion combining discovery, wonder and respect for the marine environment.
The meeting point is at the dive centre, located at Koumac Marina. It is signposted with panels and a large flag banner, and can also be found on Google Maps and the Maps.me app. Free parking is available less than 100 metres away, with the option to drop off passengers and any equipment directly in front of the dive centre entrance.
All activities then take place at sea, departing from Koumac Marina aboard a 7.60-metre semi-rigid boat fitted with a large sunshade to protect you from the sun or rain. Most activity sites are located less than 30 minutes by boat.
On return, two hot-water showers are available for rinsing off. A light snack is also provided on board, with tea and biscuits.
