Immerse yourself in the life of the Kanak tribe of Table-Unio for a weekend and spend a night in a dormitory by a river!
In the Table-Unio valley, the women's association of the Table-Unio tribe runs a dormitory that sleeps up to thirty people, a five-minute walk from the river. The site includes a large sheltered kitchen, five toilets (one accessible to guests with reduced mobility), three showers (one accessible), a dormitory, a bedroom and a large common room, all in lush vegetation. Every third weekend of the month, the association opens its doors for a true tribe experience: market, walking outings, traditional meals, weaving. You share a few moments of daily life and learn more about ancestral kanak rites and skills. Book your tribe stay.
Room and camping accommodation available.
Bring your towel.
Between Moindou and Bourail, take the Boghen entry on the right after the New Zealand cemetery (signposted Table-Unio) and follow the road for an hour.
