A short walk from Kanuméra bay, on the Isle of Pines, Gîte Nataïwatch is run by Guillaume Kouathe and his wife Eulalie, pioneers of local tourism since the late 1970s. The offer includes four traditional kanak huts with kitchen corner, eight twin bungalows for three guests with bathroom and ceiling fans, and a family bungalow for up to seven, all fitted with a terrace. A small path leads straight to the beach. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, and the reception books on-site activities: pirogue ride on Upi bay, boat trip to Brosse and Moro islets, scuba diving, bike, scooter or car rentals.
