Enjoy a simple, friendly meal with the owners of Koueney campsite, overlooking the stunning Isle of Pines lagoon.

On the Isle of Pines, two kilometres from Kuto and one from Kanuméra, Jean-Louis and Hélène welcome you at their large wooden table facing the beach and Duroc and Aventure islets. On the menu, a wood-fire kitchen built from local produce: fish or chicken with house sauce, crayfish and bulimes — the snails of the Isle of Pines. On the side, poingo bananas, coconut rice and yam are among the must-tries of a kanak tribe plate. You share the meal with the other guests, in a tablée format that opens to conversation.
