Founded in 1948, the Cercle Nautique Calédonien is a long-standing boating club with more than 1,800 active members, and a key player in New Caledonia’s maritime life for over 70 years.
An iconic place for exchange and connection, the CNC welcomes renowned sailors each year, both local and from around the world. A trusted hub for visiting yachtsmen and women, the club reflects a vibrant passion for the sea, shared every day through sailing, racing, training and a friendly club spirit.
Its facilities and equipment include:
- A marina with more than 600 berths, with water and electricity available on the pontoons
- A careening area with 22 spaces and a “JUMBO” lifting system
- A sailing base with a varied fleet: eight J70 one-design yachts, four Elliott 6 one-design yachts, ten 29ers and eight RS Fevas
