Explore some of New Caledonia’s most beautiful birdwatching spots in the company of a passionate guide!
Winner of the 2019 Tourism Trophies, Isabelle Jollit, a passionate birdwatching guide, opens her guided tours to the Zoological and Forest Park, right in the heart of Nouméa. There, you watch and identify birds, including the endemic Caledonian species — cagou, notou, black honeyeater — with bird-call listening and the patience required for photos. Several formats are available: four-hour or eight-hour discovery outings, plus expert tours covering all terrestrial endemic birds depending on the season: Mainland circuit over a minimum of three days, New Caledonia and Loyalty islands circuit over a minimum of five days. The outing suits bird enthusiasts as well as nature lovers who want an expert reading of the park. For expert circuits, contact Isabelle by email. Book your outing.
