Au P'tit Café has built a solid reputation in Nouméa over the years: a menu refreshed every week, fresh seasonal produce and five dishes on the slate, including a vegetarian option. In the kitchen, chef David Cano combines flavours and influences as deliveries come in, and the homemade passion fruit cheesecake is among the desserts not to miss on a first visit. The dining room, open Tuesday to Friday, often fills up — booking is the safer bet. By adapting to market produce, the restaurant maintains an eco-conscious approach that limits waste at the source.
