Demonstration of the pastel technique. A privileged opportunity to extend the visit of the exhibition "Ineffable Lagoon" with a live encounter with the artist and their art.
As part of the 'Ineffable Lagoon' exhibition, presented at the Maritime Museum, the artist Lise-Marie Harbulot offers the public a series of demonstrations focusing on the pastel technique.
These sessions will allow visitors to discover the artist's work up close and observe the gestures that give life to her landscapes inspired by the Caledonian lagoon.
Through her works, Lise-Marie Harbulot explores the light, reflections, and infinite nuances of the lagoon. Using dry pastel, she manages to translate the softness of marine atmospheres, the variations of the sky, and the subtle interplay of water colors, offering a sensitive and poetic vision of this emblematic New Caledonian environment.
During these demonstrations, the artist will share the different stages of her practice: preparation of the support, superposition of pigments, work on textures, and the search for light effects. The public will thus be able to better understand the specificities of this technique and interact directly with the artist about her artistic approach.
A privileged opportunity to extend the visit to the 'Ineffable Lagoon' exhibition with a live encounter with the artist and her art.
Included with the museum entrance fee.
