GLP Hotels becomes Orius International Hotels & Resorts

One of New Caledonia’s leading privately owned hotel groups has unveiled a new identity, becoming Orius International Hotels & Resorts. This rebrand reflects the group’s long-term growth strategy, supported by continued investment in New Caledonia, its first expansion into Australia and a clear ambition to strengthen its presence across international markets.

Formerly known as GLP Hotels, the New Caledonian hotel group is entering a new phase of development, reinforcing both its regional roots and its international outlook.

The new brand accompanies a growth strategy that has been underway for several years, driven by ongoing investment across its properties and a gradual expansion beyond New Caledonia. Most recently, the group marked its first Australian acquisition with The Motley Richmond – Tapestry Collection by Hilton, located in Melbourne.

Closer to home, Orius International Hotels & Resorts continues to invest in the renovation and enhancement of its New Caledonian portfolio while pursuing its vision of building a hospitality group firmly rooted in the Pacific and recognised across international markets.

The rebranding will be rolled out progressively through a new visual identity, with no changes to the group’s teams, operations or commitments to its partners.

Based in New Caledonia, Orius International Hotels & Resorts operates the DoubleTree by Hilton Noumea Ilot Maître Resort, the Hilton Noumea La Promenade Residences, the Nouvata Bay Resort, as well as Promenade Tours, a leading destination management company specialising in international inbound travel.
