Partners for more than 30 years, Société Hôtelière de Nouméa (SHN) and Marriott International are evolving their longstanding partnership, with a strengthened role for SHN in the operation and development of its properties.

Brought together under the new Le Domaine du Pacifique hospitality concept, Le Domaine Nouméa (formerly Le Méridien Nouméa Resort & Spa), Le Domaine Déva (formerly Sheraton New Caledonia Deva Spa & Golf Resort) and Le Domaine Oro (formerly Le Méridien Isle of Pines) are joining Series by Marriott, the global hotel group’s new collection brand.

Designed to showcase the character of each property while preserving its local identity, the new brand combines this approach with the standards, support and visibility of Marriott’s international hotel network. Travellers will continue to enjoy the benefits of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme.

Three resorts

Different sides of New Caledonia

Located in different parts of the archipelago, Le Domaine du Pacifique’s resorts in Nouméa, Déva and the Isle of Pines offer travellers the opportunity to experience different sides of New Caledonia, combining city, nature and island escapes.

Beyond accommodation, the new concept also includes a range of experiences and activities – restaurants, a beach club, casinos, spas, golf and ground transport – to enrich each stay and and offer more ways to discover the destination.

Nestled in lush tropical surroundings in the heart of spectacular Oro Bay, Le Domaine Oro has been welcoming travellers again since 7 August, with a phased reopening currently limited to weekends and school holiday periods as it prepares for its full reopening, seven days a week, from 18 September 2026.

    More to come

Conceived as a new strategy focused on enhancing value and fostering synergies within the local tourism group, Le Domaine du Pacifique is set to expand, with a second property on the Isle of Pines, Le Domaine Kanuméra (formerly Oure Lodge) joining the collection in 2027, ahead of further additions from the leisure and transport sectors.
