Air Calédonie resumed services to the island of Ouvéa on Thursday 10 September, now operating from Nouméa-La Tontouta Airport. The route, which had been suspended since 2 March, is gradually resuming, with the first flight operating this morning between La Tontouta and Hulup Airport.
As with Lifou and the Isle of Pines, Air Calédonie flights to Ouvéa now operate from New Caledonia’s international airport, allowing visitors to continue their journey to the islands without the need to transfer via Nouméa, with a similar flight time of approximately 40 minutes.
The flight schedule will gradually evolve according to demand. Travel professionals are encouraged to regularly check the latest schedules and availability on the Air Calédonie website.
