From March 22 to 28, New Caledonia Tourism hosted six New Zealand travel agents representing well-established networks including Envoyage, Helloworld, House of Travel, Flight Centre and Travel Brokers, on a familiarisation trip designed to showcase the richness and diversity of the archipelago.
From Bourail to Nouméa and the South, the itinerary unfolded across some of the country’s most iconic landscapes, combined with signature experiences such as the UNESCO-listed lagoon, Blue River Park, the Tjibaou Cultural Centre and Master Island.
A range of accommodation, dining and activities also featured throughout the programme, offering a genuine feel for what New Caledonia offers to international travellers.
The experience gave them valuable insight into New Caledonia, equipping them to confidently recommend it and craft tailored, high-quality itineraries that truly resonate with their clients.
