In Bourail, the Les Ignames de Péya farm grows several varieties of yam — snake yam, ceremonial yam, eating yam — and raises cattle in Province Sud. Mylène Aifa welcomes visitors to share the trade and shed light on the Caledonian seasons. The farm also runs a farm-stay guesthouse and sells its produce, seasonal fruit and vegetables on site in New Caledonia.
