Between Yaté and Nouméa, in a dense natural setting, Le Cargo des Arts is an artistic venue led by Francis Loter, master sculptor and visual artist. The 180-square-metre hangar is devoted to visual arts and hosts works signed by Francis as well as other Caledonian artists: melanesian wooden sculptures, creations from materials salvaged from the blue boats. The site also serves as a creative space, where Francis offers introductions to round-bossed sculpture and modelling, accessible to beginners and confirmed practitioners.
