Immerse yourself in the life of the Kanak tribe of Table-Unio for a weekend and spend a night in a dormitory by a river!
In Table-Unio valley, the Table-Unio women's association rents out a dormitory that sleeps up to 30 people, just a 5-minute walk from the river. There's a large covered kitchen, 5 toilets (one suitable for people with reduced mobility (PRM)), 3 showers (1 suitable for PRM), a dormitory, a bedroom and a large communal room, all surrounded by lush vegetation!
Every third weekend of the month, the association opens its doors and offers visitors an authentic tribal experience that goes beyond simple accommodation, with a market, hiking, traditional meals, weaving and more. Share in the daily life of these women and find out more about Kanak ancestral rites and skills.
