Gîte Kejaon

Kejaon means “the place where the sand curves around to form a bay” — a name that perfectly suits this small guesthouse overlooking the lagoon, where beach, vegetation and wide-open spaces set the scene for a peaceful stay. Set between the beach and the hillside, the bungalows offer simple comfort and a genuine connection with nature. Their terraces are made for slowing down and enjoying the surroundings, especially as the sun sets over the lagoon. A small number of camping sites are also available. Dining is an integral part of the Kejaon experience. At the table d’hôte, Jade serves generous dishes inspired by both New Caledonia and her Vietnamese heritage, prepared according to availability with local, seasonal produce including fish, seafood, vegetables, aromatic herbs and fruit. Days can be as active or relaxed as you like: head out by kayak, spend time by the water, explore the lagoon while snorkelling or discover the surrounding landscapes on foot. Excursions with local operators also offer opportunities to explore more of New Caledonia’s Far North and its offshore islets. Kejaon is also committed to reducing its environmental footprint, notably through the use of solar energy and equipment designed to limit water and energy consumption.
