Enjoy humpback whale watching from a Calédonie Charter member boat and observe these magnificent marine mammals while respecting the environment!
Founded in 2010, the non-profit association Calédonie Charter brings together thirteen charter companies to run humpback whale watching outings in the Caledonian Grand Lagon Sud, limiting the impact on these mammals. A signatory of the cetacean observation charter set up with the Southern Province, the association works with the Environment department and the Opération Cétacés association to raise public awareness of lagoon preservation. Touch tablets, provided by WWF on most boats, give access to the cetacean identification app. Day outings depart from Nouméa and Prony every day, from mid-July to mid-September. A partnership with Covoiturage.nc encourages shared trips to the boarding points. Book your whale watching day.
