The Eco-Museum of Voh, located at the center of the village, reminds one that this municipality was a hot bed of coffee culture and production in the early years of the twentieth century. Coffee plantations covered more than 500 hectares of land, and produced a harvest that approached 300 tonnes annually.
An eco-museum with a coffee flavor
In 2011, the former Destoop home was beautifully renovated to become the Eco-Museum of Voh. The museum regularly holds short-term exhibitions about subjects having a link with coffee.
There has been an exhibition about the families who were pioneers in coffee cultivation, and another looking at the varieties of coffee produced in Caledonia (robusta, arabica and Leroy). Organized days are regularly held throughout the season.
You can enjoy a breakfast at the venue and, obviously, there is a wide range of coffees offered!
