“Hna Hlapa” accommodation options: happy homestays
Founded in 2006, Hna Hlapa is an association of private householders who rent out furnished accommodation (rooms or apartments). The association, whose services are free of charge, currently offers a choice of over 20 accommodation options.
Hna Hlapa? The term derives from the Lifou dialect, one of New Caledonia’s many local languages, and means “house” or “home”.
You can contact Hna Hlapa Association : where you’ll find a tempting array of B&Bs, guesthouses and holiday lets, all located in the Greater Noumea area (Dumbéa, Païta, Mont-Dore and Nouméa). Accommodation is rated according to rigorous criteria, approved by the Nouméa Tourist Office and the South Province.
Depending on levels of comfort, architectural features, facilities and services, surface area, garden/greenery, etc., the accommodation is awarded one or more “Starfish”. Ranging from “simple comfort” with one starfish to “luxury” with five starfish, each property gets a clearly defined rating.
This system is your guarantee of quality, and you can book online knowing you won’t have any regrets. The Hna Hlapa Association quality charter and commitments are designed to ensure your requirements are met in every respect.
