Held since 1995, the annual race from Anse Vata to Île aux Canards and back is one of New Caledonia's biggest and most eagerly awaited Open Water Swimming events. Over 500 enthusiastic swimmers take part... Why not join them?

> Timing chips & swim caps handed out from 6.45 a.m.

> Staggered starts based on category: 8 a.m. - non-competition licence holders, 8.04 - triathletes, 8.06 - competition licence holders, 8.08 - swimmers wearing flippers.

> Award ceremony at 10 a.m. - first 10 to finish and first 5 in each category, women & men.

Registrations at www.inlive.nc, sports licence or medical certificate compulsory.

Special prize draw for all race contestants: 5 air tickets to win - 1 trip to Australia and 4 trips to Vanuatu.
