'Bienvenue à la ferme'
The “Bienvenue à la ferme” farm stays network, first set up by France’s Chambers of Agriculture in 1988, is also well established in New Caledonia. The network brings together rural farmers and producers delighted to welcome tourists for a farm stay or home-cooked meal.
The French national network has around 9,000 members (including local farmers’ markets). The New Caledonian network has around fifty members and has a well-earned reputation for offering visitors high quality hospitality and a wonderfully warm welcome.
