Nouméa celebrates Bastille Day on July 14th with a parade of glowing lanterns along the streets from Place Bir-Hakeim to Place des Cocotiers.

The party continues with a big community dance held in the Place de La Marne, followed by fireworks launched from the Townhall roof. The historic bandstand will be the focus for a variety of attractions.
