6.15 p.m. - live music entertainment with Bagpipers from the Royal Australian Air Force at Place Bir-Hakeim.
6.30 p.m.: 5,000 paper lanterns handed out at Place Bir-Hakeim. Everyone is welcome to join the lantern parade.
7 p.m. - the lantern parade sets off.
From 7.30 p.m. - firework display launched from the Townhall roof.
8-11 p.m. - community dance in the Townhall Hall of Honour, led by the News Pacific Boys orchestra.

At a glance
Nouméa celebrates Bastille Day on Friday 13 July with a parade of glowing lanterns along the streets from Place Bir-Hakeim to Place des Cocotiers.
The party continues with a big community dance held in the Place de La Marne, followed by fireworks launched from the Townhall roof. The historic bandstand will be the focus for a variety of attractions.
